Last year I released seven new songs under my own name. That was real good fun to do.

And, just like last year, I still co-wrote and produced music for other artists, but in between working on those productions, I kept on writing my own songs and tunes. Some of those songs really matched the categories of styles that the music I make and release under my name. Some other, instrumental music were more apt to be pitched for licensing opportunities. I release those kind of songs under the name ‘Top Of The Big Big World’

Just like last year, I was lucky enough to get a subsidy from the Dutch Ministry of OCW (through Buma/Stemra) to fund the purchase of a Gibson J45 acoustic guitar (which sounds like a dream and is sooo inspiring!) and some studio equipment (among which were Slate VSX headphones, which are a real game changer that improved the sound quality of my audio work beyond measure – suddenly I could hear exactly what music and mixes would really sound like on various systems). Those new purchases are certainly responsible for the output of my new work!

Anyway, here you can find the new songs and the new-tunes-that-are-pitched-for-licensing.
I hope you will enjoy listening to them and stay put, for I will certainly release new original work in the near future!
